What do you enjoy most about massage therapy?
It’s all about helping and understanding where someone is coming from. You can help de-stress the body from all it’s been through while helping clients understand what’s going on with their back, shoulders, legs, etc...
I love working with pregnant women because I’ve been through it twice and each time was different. When a pregnant client comes in, I don’t just know it from an education perspective, I know it from experience. I know exactly what they’re going through.
How would you describe your technique/style? It’s more freestyle. Trigger point, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular – all mixed in one. It depends on the client’s needs. I tend to do slower, deeper strokes which I find more effective. I’ve received a lot of massages and in 90% cases, they either missed an important part or just went over it too quickly. When I do a massage I visualize the entire body, the muscles. They pop out to me. I know I need to work this area to loosen up this muscle. I’m very detailed with my work.

What do you enjoy most about massage therapy? Helping others get relief is one of the best things about massage for me. Seeing the positive difference in my clients before and after the session is what I enjoy the most.
How would you describe your technique/style? I would describe my massage technique as mostly slow and deliberate. Relaxation is very important to create an environment conducive to healing.

What do you enjoy most about massage therapy? I really enjoy the healing aspect of massage in all the meanings of the word: mental, physiological, and spiritual. I also think it’s such an amazing awareness tool of what is going in on with your body overall.
You might start working on one thing and in the process of addressing the rest of the body, find out that you hold tension elsewhere. I really like helping clients reconnect with the feeling of ease in their bodies and being a guide on their personal journey of recovery from tension and long-term body maintenance.
How would you describe your technique/style? I have more of an intuitive approach to treatment. I incorporate various modalities into my treatment, especially the ones that are more efficient and tend to bring tension relief results faster. I tend to go right to the issue of concern and work my way through the body tension from there. I also listen attentively and adjust to any concerns my clients might have, whether it’s pressure or technique.

What do you enjoy most about massage therapy? I enjoy helping my clients get out of pain. With a background in personal training and corrective exercise, I enjoy taking it a step further to not only help you move better but to feel better as well.
How would you describe your technique/style? I like to think I have a therapeutic style of massage. Sometimes the work will not always feel good in the moment, but you will feel better after getting off the table.

What do you enjoy most about massage therapy? The deep relaxation and tension relief is what I appreciate most about massage. Being able to reduce stress, pain, and discomfort in specific areas of the body can enhance not just sleep, but overall well-being.
How would you describe your technique/style? I find my style to be therapeutic based. Keeping a rhythmic flow throughout the session and trying to treat as many problem areas as I can. I never want to rush my work, so communicating and having a mind to muscle connection is important. I want my clients to leave sessions feeling better than when they first came in.

What do you enjoy most about massage therapy? Two things. I enjoy seeing clients put in effort towards their health goals and being a part of their journey. And I love working with a tough muscle after a few minutes and feeling it melt under my fingers.
How would you describe your technique/style? I balance my massage style between what the client wants and what the body needs. It becomes a three-way dance between the client, the client's body, and the therapist, me.
